Malindi is one of the old historical towns of the Kenya coast
Having been captured by the Portuguese, the Arabs who had controlled business at Mombassa port for over a century, moved further north of Mombassa to settle at Gedi village.
Here they built one of the biggest towns of the 14th centuary period, now known as gedi ruins
A Malindi town tour covers a visit of the then Arab town ruins of Gedi and a cultural Giriama village (local)
After a 1hr 30 min walk through the Gedi ruins, client will visits the very famous watamu marine park for snorkeling and swimming thereafter a visit to malindi town.
With lunch included on the town, after lunch visit a cultural village from the Giriamas one of Kenya coastal tribes, falconry and a reptile park.
