Located on a ridge that commands the magnificent sweeping view of the chylu hills on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, kilaguni was the first safari lodge ever to be built in a Kenya National park and has long been a favorite to international tourist. The lodge was build in 1962 and has been under the proud managements of the Serena hotels since 1999
Taking the name from the kamba tribe of Kenya meaning a young rhino, the lodge is located in the middle of the world renowned Tsavo national park- an area of 20,720 square kilometer that boast the huge population of elephants.
